Music students to showcase talent

Music student at Bradford College

Music students are preparing for their own gig.

They will take to the stage in Queensbury on Wednesday night (October 10).

The students have pulled the entire event together themselves, organising everything from the venue to ticketing as well as the performances, which will include solos, groups and bands.

The showcase will take place at the Black Dyke Mills Heritage Venue, Brighouse Road in Queensbury between 6pm and 8.30pm.

Tutor Nicolas Sykes said: "The event has been planned and organised entirely by students currently on the Level 2 Diploma, Level 3 Diploma and Level 3 Extended Diploma in Music Performance and Production course. All students will be performing in some capacity.

"It’s been a very quick turnaround for this project as many students are still getting accustomed to college life. Therefore, it would be excellent if as many people could attend to support the students!"

Tickets are free but need to be booked. Book here... https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/bradford-college-music-showcase-10th-october-tickets-50774607217
