Computing graduate Rob Jeffery returns to Bradford College for book launch

A cyber security expert is returning to Bradford College to launch his new book and inspire the current generation of students.

Rob Jeffery will head back to the College’s School of Computing on Thursday March 22 to speak about his journey from Bradford College student to industry professional and author.

Rob graduated from the College in 2012 with a first class honours degree in Network Infrastructure Technologies and Business Computing Solutions after previously working in the hospitality industry.

He is now a cyber security consultant working with resellers, distributors and vendors, helping them to deliver security solutions and advisory services to large enterprise and public sector organizations.

His new book, called Day One: Migrating from Cisco to Juniper Networks, is co-written with Martin Brown. It supports industry in doubling their productivity through the replacement of ageing Cisco devices with state of-the-art Juniper hardware.

The launch event will take place at the college’s Dye House Gallery at 4.30pm on Thursday March 22.
