Former art and design students from Bradford College are reuniting to hold an exhibition of their work.
A group of students who were at the college in the 1980s are preparing to show their work at the South Square Centre in Thornton next month.
Sixteen former students, who completed their art and design courses between 1983-86 and 1984-87, have committed to exhibiting the work they created as students alongside examples of their current work to illustrate the creative journey they have taken since the completion of their studies at the college.
Bev Morton, Denise Oukhaba, nee Clark, Diane Jones and Michelle Clarke Evans, nee Clarke, have come together to arrange the exhibition and are calling on other former students from the era to attend the show. A party and a number of seminars are also planned.
The Bradford Art and Design Re-United exhibition will open with a private viewing on Friday April 6 between 6pm-9pm.
The following night, Saturday April 7, will see a party for former students, staff, partners and collaborators from years 1983-86 and 1984-87.
The exhibition will then run until Sunday May 27.
Anyone interested in attending is urged to contact Bev Morton on [email protected]
