Vocational teachers from China visit Bradford College

Bradford College is hosting a delegation of teachers from China.

The vocational teachers have travelled from the Shaanxi Polytechnic Institute, in the Shaanxi province in central China, and will spend 14 weeks with the college receiving English language training and teacher training.

During their stay they will also be taken on a number of industry visits including a tour of a Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing site.

The college has also lined up a series of cultural excursions for the visitors with the cities of York and London among the planned destinations. 

On welcoming the teachers to the college, the Provost of Bradford College, Richard Thomas, was presented with some ornate pottery by the guests.
