Undergraduate Law Students Visit UK Supreme Court

The Supreme Court
Wednesday, June 28, 2017

Students from the College’s Law LLB course recently journeyed to the Supreme Court in London, the highest court of authority in the United Kingdom.

The court was attended by students at all years of study and by academic members of staff Shazia Khan and Muazzama Ahmed.

A guided tour of the courts provided both a historical perspective by focusing on high profile cases as well as an insight into current judiciary affairs.

The visit complements a course module on the English legal system and the hierarchical structure of UK Courts.

By visiting a legal environment, our students have a chance to experience a practical application of their degree.
