National Apprenticeship Week 2023

Monday 6th to Friday 10th February

#SkillsForLife #NAW2023

National Apprenticeship Week is a nationwide celebration of apprenticeships and the positive impact they have on the economy and wider society.

We’re incredibly proud of our award-winning apprenticeships team and this is a great opportunity to shout about our provision.

The national theme for 2023 is #SkillsForLife and how apprenticeships can help to provide individuals with these.

Keep your eyes peeled for lots of exciting things going on at the College – details of which can be found below.

An apprenticeship helps you progress your career and you can use the skills you’ve learnt in various different ways.

Do you want to be an apprentice?

You’ll mostly learn through ‘on-the-job’ training, which is exactly what it says on the tin. Working within your chosen trade, getting hands-on training from your employer, giving you skills to last a lifetime. Then there’s usually one day a week ‘off-the-job’ training in College.
