In February 2013, Bradford College hosted a highly successful conference and exhibition exploring the themes of War and Art in the 20th and 21st centuries.
A packed audience attended the two day conference to hear speakers explore this powerful theme from a range of perspectives. The speakers included freelance artists and writers and representatives of the Imperial War Museum, the Royal Armouries, Bradford College, the National Media Museum and other organisations.
The slideshow below shows some of the highlights of the two day event and gives a summary of the exhibition that ran through February:

Our thanks go to all the speakers, artists and delegates who took part in the event.
"I really enjoyed this, in particular the variety of presentations, of media, and of delegates to meet and talk to. Also, the food was fantastic."
Jane Russell, freelance printmaker and former student at Bradford College
"The breadth of the papers and the research was extremely interesting and informative. I would be most interested to attend any conferences of seminars you may be holding in the future."
Dawn Lancaster, Marketing Officer, North, The Churches Conservation Trust
"I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed the conference. Please keep me informed of any future events and I look forward to meeting up again on my next return to Bradford."
