Turning Teaching Assistants (TAs) into Teachers Scheme
Teaching Assistants' (TAs) experience in the classroom makes them great candidates for progressing on to teaching. Bradford College has a number of work-based routes to allow TAs to make progress in their careers, either into higher level support roles or into teaching.
The School of Education is running a series of online events to help you find out how to take the next step in your teaching career.

More about our Turning TAs to Teachers Scheme
Bradford College has one of the widest ranges of routes into teaching in the country.
We have ex-students who began their careers as TAs, now working in senior positions in schools in Bradford, across the UK or teaching internationally.
Previous students have become SENDCOs, subject coordinators, assistant head teachers or even a head teacher.
What we can offer you
Our courses enable you to teach in early years, primary, secondary, FE, adult education or special school settings.
We offer undergraduate and postgraduate training routes with a range of top up degrees available to those who have already undertaken some degree level education.
Maybe you do not yet have a level 3 qualification to enable you to access higher education? We can offer level 3 TA courses, online Access to HE courses and apprenticeships.
