At Bradford College University Centre we know that thinking about what to do after school or college can be a daunting experience. We think it is essential that students should be armed with as much information and advice as possible before making such an important decision.

To help you make the right choice, we are hosting a Higher Education Experience Day on Tuesday 18 December 2018. The day will be jam-packed full of useful presentations and taster sessions to equip students with everything they need to know about Higher Education and beyond.

Please see the events below and book onto the one corresponding to your level of study.

Level 2 students

This event will be hosted in the Michelle Sutton lecture theatre in the David Hockney Building. Sessions include the following:

  • Students answer multiple choice questions by walking to 1 of the 4 corners of the room labelled A, B, C or D. This session is aimed to get students to think about different aspects of Higher Education and generate an in-depth conversation and debate about their preconceived conceptions about Higher Education.
  • A tailored a session designed by Performing Arts tutor, Tom Aldersley. Students will use performance and theatre to look at different scenarios they may encounter while studying at university.

Please note that, if we are informed in advance, we are able to make arrangements for attendees who may require Disabled Access, BSL Interpreters or Specialist Note Takers throughout the day, please email us to notify us about any support you need or if you have any questions [email protected]

Closer to the time most tutors will know about it so you won’t miss your mark if you are not in lesson.
