An Uneasy Calm - Tim Rudman

Internationally respected photographer Tim Rudman’s exhibition of images from his book ICELAND An Uneasy Calm reveals his interpretation and vision of the dramatic volcanic landscape of Iceland. Sixty four, silver gelatine prints, all captured on film and developed using traditional darkroom techniques and manipulation, unveil the beauty and yet uncompromising harshness of the Icelandic landscape. Photographic artist and publisher Bill Schwab applauds the work in his foreword of the book “Tim has treated the Icelandic landscape with the respect and reverence most deserved by this beautiful and mysterious land…these Images go far beyond the common and strike deep at the viewers’ core, resonating with power and beauty.”
