Course Overview

This one-year, full-time route is Stage Three of the degree course.

To study on this course you must have completed Stage 1 and Stage 2 for example, a Higher National Diploma or equivalent relevant qualification.

Course Structure

You will study a total of five modules including the completion of a final year project.

Modules Covered

All students will study:

  • IT Consultancy Practice
  • Final Year Project (40 credits)
  • Employability Skills for Computer Graduates.

You will then choose three Optional Modules from:

  • Designing and Supporting Enterprise Networks
  • Server Configuration and Administration
  • Web Optimisation and Usability Strategies
  • E-Commerce Application Development
  • Advanced Database Systems
  • Object Oriented Programming
  • Enterprise Systems
  • Digital Environments.

Additional Costs

There are no additional course costs associated with your study on this programme. All equipment is provided by the College. Students are free to purchase their own copies of books to support their studies – but all texts are available for loan from the College Library.

Entry Requirements

Successful completion of HND Computing and Systems Development or an equivalent Level 5 qualification.

If you do not meet the above criteria but have experience in the subject area this will be considered.
