The Ascentis Level 2 Certificate in Skills for Employment in the Construction Industries provides an excellent introduction to the theory and practical skills needed to work in the construction industry.

Entry to this course requires GCSE Maths and English at a grade 2.

You will be assessed by the completion of assignments and workbooks.

Your course may include work experience or a work placement that could lead to the offer of a part-time or casual work, or you might work outside of your studies. Our students benefit from local site visits and trips to construction companies, such as our award-winning local partner Priestley Construction.

Successful completion of your course can lead to further study, apprenticeships or you may progress into employment.

  Fees

If you are aged 19+ and studying a Further Education Course at Bradford College, you may have to pay course fees. Course fees are dependent on the number of hours and which course is being taken.
