Levels 2 and 3 Apprenticeship in Accountancy
Overview
Money is at the heart of every business and this comprehensive apprenticeship is your route to an exciting professional career in accounting.
You will work towards AAT accounting qualifications in an accounts department.
Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first-hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training at College.

Typical tasks:
- Balancing accounts
- Processing invoices and payments
- Completing VAT returns
- Helping to prepare financial statements and reports
You will be required to study on a day release basis.
Entry to this course requires GCSE English and Maths at a grade 4 or C as well as a Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy BKSB screening.
English and/or Maths will be included in your timetable if you have not achieved a GCSE at grade 4 or above in these subjects when you start your course.
Successful completion of this course can lead to progression to further study or employment in the Accountancy sector.
