VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Nail Technology

This is a technical certificate qualification for students who wish to pursue a career as a specialist nail technician. Students will master the skills of liquid and powder nail applications.
Students will study a total of 12 units including Health and Safety, manicure and Pedicure treatments and anatomy and physiology for nail technologist.
There are no formal entry requirements for this course but you will need a keen interest to pursue a career as a nail technician and at least a grade 3 GCSE in English and 3 in Maths.
Please note that A kit and Uniform will be required to be purchased and additional funds may be required to attend enrichment activities e.g. trade fairs.
You will be assessed on your practical skills in our salons also you will have a graded synoptic assessment and external exams.
Work experience is a compulsory component of the course.
Successful completion of the course means that you will be eligible for further study at level 3, or you will be able to enter employment in this field.
If you are 16 to 18 years old you won't have to pay tuition fees. If you're 19 or older you may need to pay a fee.
