  Overview

This course offers the opportunity to further develop key skills required in middle management.

Level 5 managers are responsible for everything from creating and delivering operational plans, managing projects, leading and managing teams, managing change and financial & resource management.

The duration of this Higher Level Apprenticeship is up to three years, part-time (a minimum of 18-24 months).

Individualised Study:

This comprises: completion and achievement of a relevant Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and management or an equivalent management qualification recognised by Ofqual (Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation). The qualification equates to at least 37 credits (at least 370 hours).

 

Entry to this course requires GCSE English and Maths at a grade 4 or C as well as a Level 3 qualification in Leadership and Management.

Alternative qualifications and appropriate experience may be considered.

Non-standard applicants may be interviewed and be required to complete a piece of written work.

Successful completion of this apprenticeship can lead to progression to further study or employment in a leadership or management role in the Business sector. Roles may include those of Operational Manager, Regional Manager, Divisional Manager, Department Manager and other specialist managers.
