Course Overview

This qualification will enable you to link theory to practice in an experiential learning environment.

You will gain the necessary skills needed to become a dynamic and resourceful Youth Worker.

Course Structure

Examples of Units covered:

  • Group Work Within Youth Work
  • Anti-discriminatory Practice
  • Working With Challenging Behaviour
  • Reflective Practice in Youth Work.

You will be required to attend full day sessions which will be held on Saturdays. Dates will be given at the induction session on 09 May.

Entry Requirements

You must be aged 18+, should have completed the Level 2 in Youth Work Practice and be working or volunteering in a youth setting for a minimum of two hours per week to secure a place on the course.

Enrolment and induction date for this course is 12 September 2018, 5-7pm.
