Course Overview

This course will provide an introduction to Brickwork and Plastering and the basic skills involved in each trade. You will also study some basic theory about the trade.

Course Structure

This course will give you a taste of the bricklaying and plastering trades. It will cover the basic techniques of the trades.

Entry Requirements

You will be interviewed to assess your suitability for the course and undertake an assessment for Literacy and Numeracy in which you must achieve a minimum of Entry Level 3 in both subjects.

How You Will Be Assessed

The course is assessed by continuous practical assessments and knowledge-based assessments for each Unit.

Things You May Need

You will be required to wear safety boots with steel toe caps and hi-vis vest when working in the College workshops.
