Course Overview

This qualification will enable you to develop the knowledge and skills needed when supporting teaching and learning in the school environment.

 

It is suitable for anyone working or looking to work in roles that support pupils’ learning including:

 

  • Teaching Assistants
  • Learning Support Assistants
  • Special Needs Assistants.

The course will run at Forster College - part of Bradford College.

 

Course Structure

You will be supported to achieve with classroom training, individual support and workplace assessments.

 

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification but you will need to be at least 16 years of age and be working, volunteering or on practical placement as you will need to show competence in both knowledge and skills.

Tuition Fees

If you are aged 19+ and studying a Further Education Course at Bradford College, you may have to pay course fees. Course fees are dependent on the number of hours and which course is being taken. Actual costs can be obtained from our FE Registry team.
