Bradford College has been offering pharmacy courses for 70 years, our staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this subject. 

Course Overview

If you are a pre-registration trainee Pharmacy Technician working a minimum of 14 hours per week for a registered pharmacist, either in a hospital, community or other sector in pharmacy where you are directly accountable to a pharmacist, this course is perfect for you.

It supports your knowledge based training and will ensure that you attain the requirements for professional registration with the Pharmacy Regulator.

Course Structure

You will be required to produce an individual e-portfolio to collect evidence of workplace activities.

Personal study time is approximately four hours per week

 

Entry Requirements

You will need a minimum of four GCSEs at Grade A*-C/9-4 including Mathematics, English Language and two Science subjects.

You must be working for a UK registered pharmacist in a pharmacy for a minimum of 14 hours per week to participate on this course.

These are the requirements of the Pharmacy Regulator.

You will be required to have a PC with access to the internet in the workplace.

How You Will Be Assessed

Assessment will be carried out in the workplace with no requirement to attend college.

If you are aged 19+ and studying a Further Education Course at Bradford College, you may have to pay course fees. Course fees are dependent on the number of hours and which course is being taken. Actual costs can be obtained from our FE Registry team.
