Course Overview

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first-hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training.

Pharmacy apprentices work in a hospital or community pharmacy undertaking a variety of tasks under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist. Duties vary depending on the setting, but may include selling over-the-counter medicines, dispensing prescriptions, ordering pharmaceutical stock and providing medical information to patients.

 

 

 

Course Structure

The course comprises of one ay per week teaching as ether virtual classroom or college based classroom.

You wil also be required to produce an individual e-portfolio to collect evidence of workplace activities.

Entry Requirements

Four GCSEs at Grade A*-C/9-4 which must include English, mathematics and either two science subjects or double science.

If you are aged 19+ and studying a Further Education Course at Bradford College, you may have to pay course fees. Course fees are dependent on the number of hours and which course is being taken. Actual costs can be obtained from our FE Registry team.
