The objectives of these qualifications are to help learners to:

  • develop and enhance skills required for the working environment 
  •  develop learners’ confidence for employment and motivation 
  •  improve communication skills and personal effectiveness 
  •  provide a basis for further study

Entry Requirements

Maths GCSE grade 3

English GCSE grade 3

English and/or Mathematics will be included in your timetable if you have not achieved a GCSE at Grade A*-C in these subjects when you commence your course.

Benefits

There will be a 1 Week block placement in a choice of settings in either early years or health and social care.

You will also gain a wider knowledge of jobs available in early years and health and care.

You will be assessed by portfolio.
