Course Overview

This is a Level 3 bridging course which can be taken as a stand-alone qualification or in preparation for the Specialist Diploma in Teaching ESOL/Literacy.

Throughout the course, there will be emphasis on the development of both personal and teaching skills in English (Literacy). The structure and functions of English Language will be explored, with prominence given to collaborative learning and applying skills in the classroom. Personal skills will be mapped to Level 3 standards.

The course will run on Thursdays 16.00-19.00.


Entry Requirements

A Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) qualification in English.
