Course Overview

The English workshop is an extra support facility for students studying English courses in the College.

Opening times:

Monday to Friday morning (09.30-12.30) and afternoon (13.30-16.30)

Monday and Wednesday evening (17.30 -20.30)

Courses offered are:

City & Guilds Functional Skills English at Entry level, Level 1 and Level 2

GCSE English Language (Eduqas)

 

Entry Requirements

You will be assessed at interview and assigned to the course that most suits your current skill level taking into account your qualifications.

For most courses you will work as part of a class or group, using the Workshop facility for extra help whenever you need it. You will be assessed and join a group working at the same level as you.

English and/or Mathematics will be included in your timetable if you have not achieved a GCSE at Grade A*-C in these subjects when you commence your course.

Tuition Fees

If you are aged 19+ and studying a Further Education Course at Bradford College, you may have to pay course fees. Course fees are dependent on the number of hours and which course is being taken. Actual costs can be obtained from our FE Registry team.
