Course Overview

This is a short course at Level 3 to help teachers improve their: own personal skills in English and in help their learners with the English in their courses.

The course can act as a bridging course to the Diploma in Teaching Literacy or ESOL in the Lifelong Learning Sector, the standard qualification for Literacy or ESOL subject specialist teachers. It can also be taken as a stand-alone CPD activity for non-literacy specialists who simply wish to develop their own literacy skills and those of their learners.

Entry Requirements

A Level 2 (GCSE equivalent) qualification in English.
