Course Overview

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training within college by day release.

This apprenticeship trains you to provide excellent customer service and can be applied to hundreds of job roles across a huge range of industries.

You will ensure customers are dealt with in a positive, reliable and pleasant way by offering advice, answering questions and handling complaints.

 

 

Course Structure

Typical tasks:

  • Meeting and greeting customers
  • Taking inbound phone calls
  • Communicating with suppliers
  • Responding to emails.

You will be required to study on a day release basis.

Entry Requirements

Level 2: GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade A*-C/9-4 or Entry 3 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB screening.

Level 3: GCSE Mathematics and English at Grade A*-C/9-4 or Level 1 on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB screening.

English and/or Mathematics will be included in your timetable if you have not achieved a GCSE at grade 4 or above in these subjects when you start your course.
