Course Overview

This distance learning course is designed to provide you with the experience and skills you will need if you are looking to gain the skills and qualifications to pursue a career in the airline or travel industries. You will build your knowledge and understanding of International Air Transport Association (IATA) calculating worldwide airfares and ticketing procedures and gain an understanding of the structure and functions of Global Distribution Systems.

Global Distribution Systems (GDS) are used worldwide by travel professionals and most travel companies use a GDS to book flights, hotels, trains, cruises and car hire.
