The Youth Work level 3 course has taught me so much, it has opened my eyes to theories behind the way I work as an active Youth Worker. It has enabled me to identify different methods to use in practice and allows me to think outside the box allowing me to dynamically work to young people’s needs. I now understand how I work and how I can continuously improve to provide the best service.
I would highly recommend this course.

This course has helped me to develop and progress in my career and to develop youth work. I did have issues whilst being on this course due to my hearing! I found the college very supportive and my tutor was amazing and understanding and supported me through this amongst other issues that I was facing I can’t thank Tina  enough for her support and her motivation.

I completed my Level 3 in Youth Work. Tina was an amazing tutor and all her sessions were very interesting. She used different learning styles throughout the course and she was very helpful. She gave up her time to help learners like myself who was struggling with certain units. She is very enthusiastic and supportive. She would mark work and leave notes to help you answer the questions more in detail. I wouldn’t have completed that course if it wasn’t for Tina encouraging me, giving additional support and being contactable throughout. Thank you! Since I completed the course, I have become more professional and I am forever reflecting on my practice. I always have debriefs at the end of each session because from taking part in this course I have realised how important communicating with your staff team is after the end of every session. I am always thinking of ways to challenge young people and have become a more confident youth worker.

Thank you once again.

I already had a lot of experience of working with young people and was doubtful of what the course may add to my skills, how WRONG was, I every week I learned something new. The course helped me to think "out the box" and also self-reflect on my working practices. I was fully supported throughout and would recommend this course to others. I really enjoyed every aspect of the learning.

I was nervous going back as a mature student but I thoroughly enjoyed being back at Bradford College, the tutor was fantastic and made studying much easier.

Made great friends on the course and got to learn and share many experiences from the tutors and other students which developed me as a Youth Worker and bring fresh ideas into my delivery. Being on the course allowed me to recognise my own strengths and weaknesses.
