This course will give you the key knowledge and skills needed to care for young children. This part-time, 15-week course is great for anyone interested in working in a nursery, day care or pre-school childcare setting.

  • Health and Safety when with young children

Once you have successfully completed the course, you may be able to progress onto a Level 2 course in Childcare or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools. You may also choose to progress to employment in an Early Years and Teaching related role.

Fully funded places may be available subject to ESFA funding rules. Please ask for more information when applying. If you’re 19 or older you may need to pay a fee.
