Overview
The Foundation T Level in Business enables you to complete nine additional Option Units. If this qualification is added to a 90 – Credit Diploma in Business, you will have completed 18 Units – equivalent to 1.5 A levels. If you achieve high grades, you will potentially be able to maximise your UCAS points to 420 to assist you in gaining a place at a university of your choice. On the other hand, this diploma will open up some job opportunities to you in a range of different businesses.

Our Foundation T Level in Business will build your knowledge in the foundations of Business. You will covers topics in Contract & Business Law, Marketing, Business Markets, Website Design and Business Ethics.
There are two externally assessed exams as well as assignments. In total, you study 4 units 3 are mandatory and one optional unit. This will support progression to a further year of study at Level 2. You can study Option Units from the following:

- Aspects of the Legal System & Law Making Process
- Understanding Retailing
- Understanding Business Ethics
- Recruitment & Selection

- Starting a Small Business
- Website Design Strategy
- Business Markets & the Economy
- Understanding Health & Safety
- Managing a Business Event
You will also study the Functional Skills Certificate which includes the study of Information Technology, English and Mathematics.
Entry to this course requires 4 GCSEs at a minimum of Grade 4 or above including English and Maths.
You will be required to attend an academic interview prior to being offered a place.
English and/or Maths will be included in your timetable if you have not achieved a GCSE at grade 4 or above in these subjects when you start your course.
Successful completion of this course can lead to progression to further study or employment in the Business sector.
If you are 16 to 18 years old you won’t have to pay tuition fees.
