Course Overview

This course is designed for students training for the IELTS examination used by universities and professional registration bodies worldwide to measure a student's ability to study or work in English. Students who require IELTS General Training or IELTS Life Skills can also join the course.

The course is aimed at students aged 18 or over, who need to raise their language skills to be able to progress to work or university-level study. You may be resident in the UK or here on a short-term visa. Unlike some other English courses, you can study for upto 15 hours a week.

The classes allow students to work on each of the four skills needed for the exam (reading, writing, listening and speaking), as well as grammar and vocabulary with individual feedback and exam practice each week.

Although Bradford College is not an IELTS testing centre, we are more than happy to provide information on the nearest centres and offer support with applications.
