  Overview

Apprenticeships give you the opportunity to learn and train in your chosen career as well as earning a regular pay packet. You will be given first-hand experience and learn the majority of the skills needed on the job, whilst also completing off-the-job training.

Typical tasks include:

  • Assessing children’s development
  • Carrying out creative activities
  • Assisting on trips and activities
  • Supervising sleep times

You will be required to study on a day release basis.

Level 2:

GCSE English and Mathematics at a minimum of Grade C/4 or Level 1 English and Entry 3 Mathematics on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB.

Level 3:

GCSE English and Mathematics at a minimum of Grade C/4 or Level 2 English and Level 1 Mathematics on the Literacy and Numeracy BKSB.

English and/or Mathematics will be included in your timetable if you have not achieved a GCSE at grade 4 or above in these subjects when you start your course.

Apprenticeship Course Fees will be paid by your employer.
