Overview
This Level 3 qualification is for you if you wish to move into a career in the professional and technical aspects of construction or progress to university to study higher level qualifications. If you have ever wondered how the buildings, infrastructure and landscape around us came into existence, and would like to find out more, this qualification could be for you. This qualification could open up the world of the built environment sector, which covers all aspects of the creation of our towns and cities, and is fundamental to creating a sustainable future.

Entry to this course requires 4 GCSEs at a minimum of Grade C/4 or above including English, Maths and Science.
You will be assessed by the completion of assignments and two externally set exams.
Your course may include work experience or a work placement that could lead to the offer of a part-time or casual work, or you might work outside of your studies. Our students benefit from local site visits and trips to construction companies, such as our award-winning local partner Priestley Construction.
Successful completion of this qualification will enable you to progress onto the Advanced Technical Extended Diploma. You may also progress onto further study or employment in the construction industry.
If you are aged 19+ and studying a Further Education Course at Bradford College, you may have to pay course fees. Course fees are dependent on the number of hours and which course is being taken.
