Overview
This is an opportunity to gain a first qualification in Information Technology, the focus will be on developing your database skills and using Social Media for Marketing and promoting business. The course uses a wide range of learning methods with a focus on practical workshops. These are designed to allow you to develop your skills and knowledge in a supportive environment. Students will use Microsoft access to develop their database skills.
This part time course designed to be delivered on evenings to work around your work schedule. The course will be delivered 2 evenings a week, 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

Entry to this course requires GCSE English and Maths at grade 4 or an equivalent qualification.
A Synoptic assessment will be used for the database unit with written assessment for Social Media in Business.
