Apprenticeship Reforms

Apprenticeship Reform information events

Apprenticeships in England are changing.

Do you know what the changes are?
Are you ready to take advantage of the reforms?

On May 1st 2017 apprenticeship funding and delivery mechanisms will change.

The Apprenticeship levy will come into effect in May 2017. It will be payable by employers in the UK with a payroll exceeding £3 million at 0.5% of payroll. This will rise to £3bn a year to fund the government’s target for an additional three million apprentices by the year 2020.

The Levy will be paid monthly through HMRC and all other employers will contribute 10% towards the cost of an apprenticeship. Employers with a payroll bill of under £3m will be funded through the ‘co-investment model’.
