Foundation Degrees are a Government initiative to meet the demands of the 21st century. They’re designed to equip you with the broad skills base and experience of Higher Education that employers are looking for. They’ll provide you with specialist technical knowledge and skills for jobs at the associate professional and technical level. Foundation Degrees include significant elements of work-based learning and are therefore particularly attractive to people already in paid employment. A Foundation Degree can be achieved through either full-time or part-time study. The full-time mode normally takes two years to complete. You must gain 120 credit points at both Levels 1 and 2.
