Qualifications Entry Requirements - Section 1

Mature Students

Our programmes welcome applications from mature students who may not have the standard academic entry requirements.  Provided you can demonstrate by virtue of other studies and/or experience, you’re capable of coping with and benefiting from the course. We’re strongly committed to offering entry to students who’ve completed:

• Access to Higher Education (HE) programmes or other non-standard qualifications. (See also Accreditation of Prior Learning and Experience.)

ASDAN (Award Scheme Development and Accreditation Network) Award Scheme

Bradford College University Centre recognises the ASDAN Award Scheme for admission purposes. The ASDAN Key Skills are also recognised under the Bradford College University Centre Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) scheme.  Credit is automatically given in relation to the respective Key Skills at the same level within associated courses.

Edexcel BTEC Higher National Diplomas and Certificates

These work-related qualifications are ideal if you’re preparing for employment or for transfer to an appropriate degree route. If you’re already in work, these qualifications can boost your career development.
