Being part of the National Union of Students (NUS) means that you can get lots of different discount offers.
NUS Extra is the student discount card that costs just £12 - which is not bad for something that is going to save you a whole load of cash throughout the year.

Not just in the UK either, if you order your card online for an extra £2.99 your card doubles as an International Student Identity card (ISIC), so you can use it to get discounts and special offers when travelling abroad as well, in over 100 countries.
The card has changed this year, if you purchase the card online instead of being valid for an academic year , it now starts from the day of purchase and expires after 12 months.
