Getting involved with the Students' Union through societies and volunteering can be a great way of making new friends and improving your experience at Bradford College. Societies are the Union's way of bringing students with similar interests together and volunteering is a great way to make a difference and develop your skills.

Here are Just a Few Reasons to Get Involved

Make Friends

Starting College can be a little daunting whether you're coming straight from school or returning to study after many years. Yet it's also a great opportunity to meet people with similar interests to you and make friendships that could last a lifetime! Societies and volunteering bring together all sorts of people. So whether you're a mature student, an international student, studying HE or just want to get the most out of your time at Bradford, then the Students' Union is for you!

Advance Your Studies

Any course or subject group can have a society which is supported by the Union to host events, hear from expert speakers or take part in workshops all related to your course. Our volunteering projects can give you the opportunity to develop your skills and get experience outside of the classroom.

Try Something New

Starting College is a great time to try out new things. So if you've ever thought about setting up your own Glee Club, running a green campaign or trying your hand at knitting then get in touch and we'll help you get started. We're always looking for new ways to get students involved so if you have an idea of your own then let us know!

You can drop into the Union for a chat or email the Students' Union on S.Union@bradfordcollege.ac.uk
