Nigel added: “I think a lot of people look at chess and see it as an old mans game but there has been a lot of young people participating recently. I want to generate interest. If people want to learn I’m happy to teach them from scratch. People are welcome at any level of ability. You’ll always play against someone of similar ability or a little bit better to improve your game.”
