English Workshop

 

English and Literacy are vital skills, essential to achieving success in education and employment. Our lecturers assess and enrol students, giving advice and guidance on the appropriate level of a course. 

The English Workshop offers a range of accredited courses from Basic Literacy (spelling and grammar) to GCSE English, including the National Literacy Tests, Financial Literacy, Office Practice and Citizenship.

Community Skills for Life offer Literacy and Numeracy classes at Bolton Royd and in community centres around Bradford. Students are entered for the online National Tests at Levels 1 and 2 at any time throughout the year.

The Workshops also deliver Workplace Skills for Life Training on employers’ premises, which are designed to meet the needs of the organisation and the abilities of the workforce.
