Standard Rooms
Standard rooms feature a shared bathroom and are a good choice if cost is an issue. Standard rooms have recently been refurbished to a high standard and feature small double beds and vanity units with wash basins.
Each bedroom features:
- Fully furnished with small double bed, vanity unit with wash basin, wardrobe, desk, desk chair, and drawers
- Internet connection point in all rooms (Internet charges are included in your rent)
Standard rooms have shared shower rooms, with a ratio of 1:6 showers per resident. Each bathroom features the following:
- Two showers, two WCs, two hand basins, towel rail, shelves and mirror
- There is also a single private shower room available on every second floor of the building
Shared kitchen includes:
- Each flat comes with a kitchen shared between 7 or 8 students
- Shared kitchens come complete with a large fridge and separate freezer, cooker, breakfast bar and chairs, two sofas, microwave, kettle, vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board.
Other features at Laisteridge Lane Halls include:
- On site management team Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
- All inclusive rents including internet access, so no extra bills to pay
- 24 hour on-site security
- Large common room with vending machines and plasma TV
- Electronic key fob entry
- On-site coin-operated laundry
- A Residential Student Warden lives on site and is available to help
- Car parking available on site for an additional fee
