Bradford College and its Students’ Union have literally gone bananas in a bid to raise awareness of Fairtrade during Fairtrade Fortnight which takes place from February 24th to March 9th 2014.

Bradford College student Shoaib Rehman jetted to Spain for three months last year on an Erasmus work placement. He studied BA (Hons) Youth and Community Development, and his placement was at Asociación Laboratoria Creactiva in Granada. We asked him about his Erasmus experience and life since his placement.

In 1975, when Richard McCann was just five years of age his mother became the first victim of the Yorkshire Ripper. From a young age Richard McCann had to overcome a great deal of physical and mental abuse, alongside tragically losing his kind and loving mother.
