Taster Days
Taster Days are designed to give you a hands-on experience of specific subject areas. They can also help you to decide what subjects you would like to go on to study in Higher Education. Our Taster days are insightful, informative and exciting and you may even have the opportunity to experience a real life Higher Education lecture.
Installation Complete
An introduction to the preparations required when installing an Operating System. You will discover how professionals evaluate new software by installing it within a virtual environment, so as not to harm the current PC settings and software already installed.
You will then install an operating system (virtually) under the guidance of the lecturer, who will talk them through each stage, pointing out key requirements, issues and/or challenges along the way.
This session is easy to get to grips with for all. Furthermore, as it is a practical session, it allows everyone to participate.
