Bradford College’s attendance at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show didn’t go unnoticed. With the appearance of the Wow Academy’s Space Bus and our eye-catching Space Hopper Launch Pad - the public gathered with great excitement to see what we had to offer.
Crowds gathered to see the first class entertainment provided over the three day event, with star performances from our Performing Arts Department, who proudly presented the fabulous dance skills from ‘Launch’, a truly vibrant contemporary dance troupe made up of Bradford College’s very own past and present students. Dennis Nunn and Leanne Jennings from the Health & Care Sector gave a lively and informative First Aid demonstration. Healthy College Manager, Jane Marshall was also on hand to offer healthy living advice. Beauty Therapy students Jess O’Melia & Rachael Cunningham treated visitors to the Yorkshire Show to pamper sessions, which included, nail art and hand massages.
Bradford College Events Coordinator, Charlotte Cooper commenting on the Great Yorkshire Show said: “We’re delighted to have been invited and involved with the show’s Discovery Zone. We look forward to attending next year with an exciting schedule of events!”
