Digital & Creative Industry Wowed!
The Wow, Digital and Creative Media Hub based within the Innovative Technologies Centre at Bradford College was proud to host an exciting digital and creative media event, which focused on the latest initiatives and funding opportunities within the sector.
Bradford College Principal and Chief Executive, Michele Sutton, OBE was invited to officially launch the prestigious event, before handing over to Yorkshire Forward’s Stuart McFarlane, Sector Manager for Digital and New Media Industries.
High level representatives from within the sector were keen to learn more about the latest industry news from Mr McFarlane and his team of specialists. Topics covered included: RDA, its role as a strategic organisation and what it funds, Business support initiatives & products, Export opportunities & initiatives, together with information and advice about Train to Gain.
Guest speakers attending the event included: Richard Lukey from Business Link Yorkshire, Nigel Goddard from UKTI, Kath Holmes from Business Link Yorkshire, Jas Hayre from the Train to Gain Enhancement Fund and Emma Cheshire from Screen Yorkshire. The event was a huge success, with guests commenting on the trip to the centre being extremely informative and worthwhile!
