Bradford College’s services to business brand, Total Training Solutions, is celebrating success by becoming the 101st organisation to achieve the Training Quality Standard (TQS), the highest training accolade possible in recognition of its excellent work with employers.
TQS is a framework, assessment and certification process, which recognises and celebrates those colleges and training providers that put employers’ training needs at the heart of what they do. It is a measure of an organisation’s ability to offer training, which responds to the needs of businesses.
Kevin Woodhead, Business Development Manager for Total Training Solutions, said: “We’re delighted and proud to have achieved the Training Quality Standard, which acknowledges the excellent work the College does with a huge range of employers in Bradford and beyond.”
Kevin continued: “In these challenging economic times, the College is ideally placed to assist businesses and individuals in achieving the skills they need to maximise their potential.”
Bradford College joins a number of colleges and organisations such as BMW, British Gas, Rolls Royce and the FA Premier League who have been awarded the standard for their own in-house training.
Doug Stott, Executive Director of Finance attended the ceremony to present the plaque to members of the Total Training Solutions team: Pat O’Brien, Sally Burgess and Mubina Ahmed. Doug congratulated the team saying: “I think it’s a great achievement for the College to have been awarded the Training Quality Standard. This reflects a lot of good work that has taken place over the last two years. Credit must be given to the team, Ricci Longden, Pat O’Brien and Saeima Tuddy in particular for making this happen.”
During the presentation ceremony, Enterprise Support Unit Manager, Pat O’Brien said: “We’re very proud that Total Training Solutions have secured the Training Quality Standard, in recognition of our excellent customer service to employers.
