iPad Competition Winner Revealed…

Lucky Sophie Hatcher was delighted to discover she had won an exclusive Bradford College competition to win an iPad.  Hundreds of entries were received and Sophie was selected at random to scoop the prize.

Students from around the country entered the competition at a variety of career focused events, including the ‘Design Your Future’ exhibitions, based in London and Manchester.  Local Students were also given the opportunity to enter the competition during the Bradford College Arts & Media Open Day.

Nathan Kelly, Programme Manager for the School of Art & Design & Media was happy to present Sophie with her prize during the official ceremony.

The Educations Liaison Team at Bradford College also attended the presentation ceremony and were responsible for organising the competition.  The Educations Liaison Team inspire young people to develop themselves and their careers through education.

Commenting on winning the iPad, Sophie said: “I was really quite surprised when I received the call to say I’d won the competition. I thought someone was playing a prank on me at first… I couldn’t quite believe it, but I’m delighted to have won such an amazing prize and would like to thank the College.”

Sophie will be enrolling on a Contemporary Surface Design and Textiles course at Bradford College in September and added: “I’m looking forward to starting my course, making new friends and having a fresh challenge!”

Programme Manager, Nathan Kelly remarked: “I’m delighted that Sophie will be joining us in September on our degree in Textiles.  The School offers a wide range of courses in Arts and Media, including our new HND courses in both ‘Film Production’ and ‘Performance of Stage and Screen’.”
