Christopher Bracewell was announced as this year’s winner of the Academia Annual Student Awards during a special ceremony held at Bradford College.
Impressing judges with his hard work and determination to succeed, Christopher Bracewell beat off stiff competition to scoop the prestigious Academia Student Award. To mark Christopher’s great achievements, Susan Richardson, I.T. Compliance and Procurement Manager organised a formal presentation ceremony.
This is the latest in a string of student friendly sponsorship initiatives that Susan Richardson has attracted from the I.T. market to celebrate and mark the achievements of Bradford College students. During the official ceremony, Rose Kane, I.T. Services Manager said in her opening address: “We’re delighted to be here today to celebrate in the success of you our learners.” Rose went on to present Christopher with his award, a Western Digital Hard Drive and £25 Amazon voucher, before revealing the names of the runners up in the innovative competition.
Runners up Michael Wainwright, Arron Gordon, Saira Manaf and Jack Pearson were thrilled to accept the £25 of Amazon vouchers, during the award winners’ ceremony.
Rose Kane went on to congratulate Christopher Bracewell and the runners up on their great achievements and said: “You have won these awards because of all the hard work, dedication and commitment you have shown. I am delighted to present these awards to you on behalf of Bradford College and Academia.”
Christopher Bracewell was accompanied by Programme Manager Safdar Ali, who watched with pride as he accepted his award. Runners up Michael, Arron, Saira and Jack were also accompanied by their lecturers, Sheila Sharman, Diane Metcalfe, Darren Dutson-Bromley and Damien O’Keeffe during the prestigious occasion.
Senior staff from I.T. Services, Sue Richardson, Chris Clayton and Richard Adams were on hand to support Christopher and the other award winning students as they collected their accolades and enjoyed a celebratory lunch.
