Level 2 Diploma Art & Design
“The show features the Rags To Riches project we did based on artistic movements. Each student had to examine the idea of rich and poor and had to interpret it through the artistic movement they had been given. All the pictures were joined up and so they had to work together to fit in with each other. As they had to literally go into each other’s painting it was quite invasive and they had to set aside any preciousness and look at it from a collective perspective. This was a very useful link to professional practice.
Level 2 Diploma Art & Design (formerly known as First Diploma) is a general feeder to all level three courses. The students have made very good progress and 90% are going on to Level 3 courses in art and design, photography, graphics and fashion.”
