Bradford School of Arts & Media’s Summer Show 2012 will be displaying final work by the brightest talents around!
Join the cognoscenti talent spotting when students from all Bradford School of Arts & Media's degree and pre-degree courses exhibit in the Lister Building from Friday 22nd to 28th June. The Fashion Show will be held in the Henry Mitchell Hall, Old Building on Thursday 28th June, with shows at 1.30pm, 4pm, 6.30pm and 8.15 pm. Attendance is strictly by ticket only. Tickets can be booked from 1st June by telephoning 01274 438965.
Publicity material for the summer show has been designed by Christina Harrison, a second year BA (Hons) Graphic Design, Illustration & Digital Media student. Course Tutor, Paul Holmes, explained, “Eight students took up the challenge of designing the summer show leaflet and poster, which this year had a diamond jubilee theme. The colour, composition and typography of the winning design by Christina complimented each other in a strong information graphic design. Her understated diamond was also sophisticated and overall it has a nice contemporary-retro flavour. Christina proved professional in customising her design to the final print purpose. This is excellent professional experience for her and will enhance her portfolio.”
